A Walk along Hadrian's Wall - March 1998
This set of pages is my diary from a walking trip along Hadrian's Wall in northern England in March 1998.
This was my first long-distance walk. I started at Brampton and walked east to Prudhoe, just outside Newcastle upon Tyne - about 50 miles.
It was March, and the weather was blustery. The legionaries must not have had much fun stationed here and dreaming about sunny Italia...
The pages are just images from my written diary, with some extra commentary attached. There are only some 16 pages of text, not very dense, and with pictures.
