I'm confounded by what my host said about the pink towels.
I find it quite easy to be a reasonable and considerate guest,
especially in a country with as few language barriers as England.
Part of it, I am sure, is not having an expectation that I should be treated as royalty,
and not having a mindset that says I should treat my hosts as servants.
I can understand in hotels that I might expect a higher level of service,
but the beauty of the B-and-B is that it is not a hotel; the relationship
is much closer to staying with cousins or other family.
