| This is my journal of a walk I made in the Bernese Overland in Switzerland with Rick, my friend and brother in the Lord. To the right is the route on a map of the country. Below is a more detailed view looking from the north to the south. The olive dots mark our overnights. From Adelboden to Meiringen, we were on a long-distance path that goes from Monaco to Slovenia through all the alps, and which is aptly named the Via Alpina.
